Awarded contract at Hamra substation

Kanonaden Entreprenad Mälardalen AB, a company within AF Gruppen, has been awarded the contract to carry out extensive ground and concrete works at Hamra on behalf of Linxon Sweden AB. The project is being undertaken for Svenska kraftnät. It is a turnkey contract valued at SEK 117 million excluding VAT.
The project includes the reconstruction of the existing substation as well as the construction of a new 400 kV substation, including two control buildings. Kanonaden Entreprenad Mälardalen AB’s share of the assignment comprises groundworks, concrete works, and foundation works, as well as the demolition of earthing grids and concrete foundations.

The project is scheduled to commence with site establishment and demolition in the fourth quarter of 2025 and is expected to be completed during 2030.
